THIS WEEK WE ARE DOING SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT. Instead of the
regular Fun Fifty, we are featuring the top fifty records of 1964,
plus ten of the runners-up. This survey is based on the top ten
records from the regular FUNtastic FIFTY surveys from this past year.
Look it over and recall fond memories of the big hits of 1964. The
top 300 records of all time will be presented on C-FUN Soundathon
starting Tuesday, December 29th, at 7:00 in the morning. Good
listening from the good guys of C-FUN.

Notes:
-This year-end chart was not numbered and should not be considered part of the regular sequence of weekly C-FUN surveys. The songs listed were played on air for four days (Dec. 25, 26, 27 & 28) prior to Soundathon #9.

The song listings, as presented on the original distributed chart, contained several errors, which are included here in the above listing. These errors are as follows:
-Number 10 - the song should be "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Crying" by Gerry and the Pacemakers. The song that is listed above, "World Without Love" is by Peter and Gordon and occupies the number 22 position.
-Number 19 - is by Dean and Jean, not Jan and Dean.
-Numbers 28 & 37 - "Such a Night" by Elvis Presley is listed twice. If another song was to have held one of these two positions, that information is likely now lost to history.

-In the promo for Dance Party, it might be interesting to note that "CHAN 8 TV" is today known as "Global" and is viewed by local cable subscribers on channel 11. Over the airwaves the station still broadcasts on channel 8, and it's call letters are still CHAN-TV, although they are seldom, if ever, referred to.
